newcompany claimconfirmed Mission page: 'one standardized design built thousands of times', vertically integrated design-build-operate
Valar's mission page frames its mission as 'Abundant Energy for All Mankind' and contrasts it with the fewer than 700 commercial reactors built since 1942 across dozens of designs. It says the company will build one standardized design thousands of times, put hundreds of reactors on one gigasite, and vertically integrate design, construction and operation to amortize site costs. These are stated intentions, not demonstrated outcomes.
In plain termsThe idea is mass production: one reactor design repeated thousands of times, like a factory product, instead of every nuclear plant being a one-off. It is a plan, not something shown to work at any scale yet.
